New York, NY (March 30, 2005)--Currently pumping over the airwaves is a radio spot for Tropicana that will really get your juices flowing, featuring a version of Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy," re-recorded G&E style. Glenn and Erik of NYC's G&E Music reworked all of the vocal and vocal percussion parts to including Tropicana and some words on its new "Orangeade" drink, and brought in vocalist Charles "Chucky" Stanley to sing the parts.

Working with Millennium Creative Group's president/creative director Cliff Pia, G&E brought a lot to the table on this one, actually providing the absolute key ingredient--the talent to tackle such a challenging vocal. Pia had this to say: "After searching extensively in NY, San Francisco and Los Angeles for a specific style of voice talent to perform the Tropicana jingle we were creating, the crew at G&E found us the perfect vocalist (Chucky), then executed and mixed the tracks to perfection. They always go the extra mile, work within our budgets, and exceed our expectations. G&E rocks."

Glenn even worked in some body percussion, recording chest and kneecap slaps and snaps, in typical Bobby McFerrin fashion. "We really had fun on this one," says Schloss. "Turns out we ended up scaling down the percussion in the end, going with a nice raw version of the song, which had a lot of life to it. It really stands out on the radio."
