Mission: Bring the the Spike TV animated series “The Team” to life with the entire audio package.
The Team, pays tribute to the Film Noir genre – dark, mysterious and suspenseful, while maintaining a very tongue in cheek humor, ala James Bond meets Get Smart.
Creative notes included, simple, nervous, suspenseful, dramatic, thrilling and tense.
G&E head audio mixer Brian Quill recorded all character voices in studio A, alongside producer Greg Babuik (Pasarola Pictures.) The script called for plenty of character interaction, so it was most effective to have 2-3 actors reading with each other in real time during the recording session. Upon completion of the VO record, Greg and his creative team animated to the character reads back at Pasarola.
G&E then composed the theme music package, consisting of music for the opening and closing credit sequences, as well as musical stings. Once a rough cut was completed, the G&E team began sound designing the scenes and adding background score and texture. After picture lock, G&E sound designed all the specific movements and action on screen, and finished mixing all the elements. After final approval, G&E delivered a final 48k 16bit .AIF file
RESULT: Most successful show of the Cock and Load program bundle. Spike orders 5 more episodes.
