MISSION: Create a hot dance track that sonically brands the world renowned, number one best selling author and nutritionist Joy Bauer.

G&E reworked a gellypop dance song bringing in Mitch Matlock to sing Vocals. Mitch has toured singing backups with Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige. When the track was finished it was sent to NBC producers for consideration. They loved it and licensed it immediately before the first segment. Several bumpers and stings were created by G&E, allowing NBC producers the flexibility to cut in and out of commercial break. TV personality, Kathy Lee can be heard around the halls of the NBC Today Show singing "Are you ready for Joy."

RESULT: In 2007, the Joy Fit Club first aired on NBC as a one-off segment. Today, the Joy Fit Club has become a staple of the NBC Today Show. Now featured twice a week, the song "It's Time For Joy" has become an empowering anthem for people all over the country looking to improve their health and fitness.
